Role

Product designers decide how pensiv and Mono Mail look, feel, and move. As a member of our core product team, you'll craft the delightful interfaces that let storytellers harness the full power of AI — working at the pixel level while holding the whole product in your head.

Sample projects include...

  • Designing the editor where storytellers draft, revise, and shape an entire manuscript
  • Shaping how AI suggestions surface in the writing flow without breaking concentration
  • Defining the motion language for plotboards, canvas, and character relationships
  • Refining typography, spacing, and color across desktop and mobile until every surface reads as one product

You might be a fit if...

  • You've designed and shipped a great product.
  • You have an exceptional eye for typography, color, layout, and motion, and a reason behind every decision.
  • You sweat the details nobody thinks to look for — the half-pixel misalignment, the easing curve that lands a beat too slow, the label that reads wrong on the third pass.
  • You design in high fidelity and prototype your own work, so an idea can be judged by how it feels rather than how it is described.
  • You have a propensity for creative ideas and have a knack for making powerful tools without compromising their ease-of-use.

Applying

To apply, please email your portfolio to team@pensiv.so, as a link or a PDF under 20 MB, with the password if it needs one. We read every portfolio and we do not consider applications without one.

Show two or three projects you designed end-to-end, and for each one tell us what the problem was, what you tried, and why the final version looks the way it does. We care far more about depth than volume. If there appears to be a fit, we'll reach out to schedule 2-3 short conversations, including a portfolio review. The final step is an onsite in our office, where you'll work on a small design problem, discuss ideas, and meet the team.
